I know it's been a while I will catch up soon!! Today I am taking care of my sick husband, he's got that ole bug!! You know when husbands are sick they milk it for all it's worth ha ha Just keep him in your prayers!!

Just a update on Abbi. She went back to Jackson last week for a check up and to get another feeding tube. (The feeding tube is a 4 week tube so they have to go back every four weeks) We got a really good report!!! She now weighs 8.5 lbs!!!! She is staring to turn her head back and forth and tryng to hold it up!! She is laughing and gooin!! She is definetly a NEW baby now!! The blood tests all came back normal. But right now we're waiting to see a neurologist for her muscle tone. Some days Abbi will drink her whole bottle without even using the feeding tube! She is drinking 3 1/2 ounces now. Thanks for all the prayers and support you have given. Keep praying that God will continue to allow Abbi to progress. Matt and I are doing good..hunting season is finally over and I can actually see him!!! And Saturday, he finally took the Christmas lights off the house...THANK THE LORD...ha ha!! Anyway, hope everyone has a good Valentine's Week!!

Abbi update & Deer

Abbi had her shots a week ago and she has only gained 2 pounds since she has been born. It takes 45 min. to feed her 2 ounces (very tiring). So anyway, Tuesday mom, dad and Rae took her to see a GI doctor and a muscle doctor to see whats going on. The GI doctor ended up putting Abbi on a feeding tube. The muscle doctor ran several tests. So, we're waiting to hear from them. Today, Abbi is not feeling to good, she having a hard time breathing with that tube plus we think she is getting a cold!! Please keep her in your prayers it's pretty tough seein her sick and having that tube but God is good and we're trusting in him!

Last weekend Matt, Daddy, Uncle Randy, Darryl Smith, and Joe Upton were invited to go hunting with my dad's cousin, Darrell Upton at his hunting club. Boy did they have a good time. Matt said they stayed up most of the night laughin their heads off. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall!!! No telling what they talked about. Anyway, on with the hunting story. Ok Matt has only killed 1 deer since we have been together, 6 whole years!! Well, while I was sleeping so good Saturday morning my phone rang at 7:00...guess who it was..?? Matt!! He was out of breath and breathing so hard!! I couldn't tell if he was hurt, sick, been in a wreck or what!! Well, finally he got it out of his mouth..He SHOT an 8 point! It weight 200 pounds, had a 15 5/8 inside spread and g2's were 10 1/4 inches long. I am so proud of him !! He can't wait to get it mounted and put in his hunting room!! Now he can actually have a deer on the wall bigger than mine.. ha ha Here are a few pictures of Matt's trip!!

I'm back!!! My wonderful, most bestest friend in the whole wide world, Jenna Lile informed me today that if I didn't post something soon she was going to be really mad...so here I am, sure hate to make her mad with hormones ragin and all ;) ha ha love you jen!

Life has been pretty crazy since I last posted! Let's go ALL the way back to November!! On November 3rd, God sent a little angel into this world!! My sister had a little girl, Abbi Rae. She weighed 4lbs. 14oz. 21 1/2 in. long. Sweet Abbi has had a hard time. While she was in the hospital her temp. went up and down. She had a hard time eating and a few other concerns. After being there a whole week and then one night without her mommy, she finally got to go home on (Rae's) my sister's birthday!! She is doing pretty good right now but just keep her in your prayers. She is going to Jackson to see a few doctor's to get some answers. It's amazing how a smile will melt your heart!! We love this little girl so much and pray everything will be ok! RaeAnne is such a great mother and very protective too! If you see her out anywhere she is not afraid to tell you to wash your hands before touching or holding her!! We were looking at her baby pictures the other day and she has Rae's eye's and forehead! And when Abbi gets mad she wrinkles her forehead just like her!! It's so funny!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year's!! We enjoyed having Abbi's 1st Christmas and spoiling her rotten!! Drew and Karlie my other niece and nephew also had a great Christmas. Drew got a Wii. Karlie will get the other remote and copy everything Drew does, it is so funny. In the mornings when she wakes up and the TV is cut off she'll say UH-O! She thinks the TV has to be on all the time cause it pretty much is!! ha ha Matt got lots of good toys for Christmas like a bow and a digital camera to take his OWN PICTURES of DEER with, along with a blue ray and movies and a bunch of other stuff ;) Now we're back into the swing of things and life is back to normal!! I'll start online classes in the next week or so. Last semester and I am done with school forever~THANK GOODESS!! So hopefully that gets us to January I'll try and do better JEN!! Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!!!

Well this weekend went by so fast. Friday night, Matt and I just relaxed and watched movies. It was kinda nice, it doesn't happen to often! Saturday, Matt went hunting with my dad, and I went shopping in Tuscaloosa with Jenn. We had so much fun. It was so nice to talk and catch up on everything! I am so blessed to have her in my life she has been there through it all! Thank you jen for being such a great best friend!! We need to do it again SOON! Especially since hunting season is here and our husbands are never home!! ;)
